Pipe Test Plug is a reinforced rubber made product including a bypass connection to leak test a pipeline or to bypass the flow.
Pipe Test Plug
Pipe plugs provide a trench-less method for the maintenance of drains and sewers, and construction and testing of non-pressurized gravity pipelines. Pipe test plugs are made from SBR+NR mixed rubber, nylon cord, Kevlar cord and strong fabrics. All of our products are tested after production is completed.
There are three main purposes of pipe plugs. These are temporary sealing or stopping the fluid flow in a pipeline, leak testing and by-passing the flow. They are also used for blocking the ends of pipes to prevent the entry of dirt and other contaminants during construction, maintenance or repair of pipelines.
The leak tests of gravity pipelines using the pipe plug are performed with respecting the requirements of the European Standard EN1610 for both water and air tests.
What dimensions of pipe test plugs do we produce?
Pipe test plugs, also called pipe plug with bypass, it is used to test different dimensions of sewer and drainage pipelines starting from 35 mm diameter up to 2200 mm. The pipe test plugs are plugs designed to fit a wide range of pipe dimensions. They are available as a blocking plug or a bypass plug allows sewer flow through the plugs for sewer bypass or diversion. They can also be used as a test plug when air or water leak testing.

Can we use one PTP Model for many pipe sizes?–
PTP Model is multi-size pipe plug which means that you can use one PTP Model for many pipe sizes. For example, you can use PTP6001600 for all pipe diameters between 600mm and 1600mm. You can check in the above table the Usage Size Range of each pipe test plug model. You can watch our video for more details.

What are the storage conditions of the Pipe Test Plugs?–
The pipe Plugs should be stored in a dark & dry place, away from direct sunlight, and the temperature must be between +5°C and +25°C. In addition, before and after each use of the Plug, be sure to clean the external surface of the plug. However, NEVER Clean the plug with solvents, hydrocarbons or other aggressive agents.
